USDA inspection occurs regularly, so that you may be assured of a healthy, well cared for, and tame petting zoo. Darby Acres Farm exceeds all USDA requirements for our animal's care, nutrition, transportation, cleanliness and living. You may be surprised to learn that all businesses that have animals for parties, or to be shown to the public must be licensed and monitored by the USDA. This means we are subject to pop inspections on our farm and in the field to be sure our animals are being properly cared for and are healthy. Rivers' Blueberry Farm is run by the Rivers' family and is nestled in a central Rock Hill neighborhood near Cherry Park. When you come you will feel like family, we promise!

Cotton Hills Farm

We have been growing fresh fruits and vegetables here at the Bush-N-Vine since 1979. However, the Bush-N-Vine Farm has actually been in the Hall family for much longer---over 150 years! Originally the farm was solely a peach orchard. The building located on our farm in York, South Carolina was used as a peach packing shed in the 1950's and 60's. York, SCStrawberry picking starts mid-April at Black’s Peaches.

An outing to a U-pick farm can be a great tradition for kids. Freedom Acres Farm is a 5.5 acre farm that grows u-pick flowers, various heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, assorted squash, and a large assortment of peppers sweet and hot. We are a family operated farm that has been providing produce to Huntersville and the Lake Norman community for over a decade. Our farm has been in operation for over seventy-years, passed down through three generations of farmers. You can find our produce at our business, The Old Store, which is just across the street from the farm.

Weddington, NCThe Hunter Farm is a family-run farm in Weddington, North Carolina. In the spring they offer strawberry picking and fun wagon rides to their animal barn. You’ll want to stay tuned to their Facebook page for official opening information, but currently, they are targeting mid-April 2024 to open for the spring season!

Lancaster, SCThe Hall Family Farm offers u-pick strawberries- no reservation required and no admission fee. Follow their social media page for availability, but they are open for the 2024 season!

The bedroom offers a comfortable retreat with plenty of natural light, a walk-in closet and direct access to a newly remodeled bathroom with oversized tiled shower. An ample laundry room, newly updated half bath and plenty of storage space complete this gem of a home. The community offers access to the neighborhood pool, perfect for enjoying the warm Carolina weather and ample parking. We love the wheelchair-accessible strawberry picking at Lush Acres Farm in Clinton, SC. It’s about 2 hours from Charlotte, but so worth it for this unique option. They also have animals to visit and kids’ activities like a jumping pillow!
